How it works

Choose receipt PDFs, documents, scans, or images in Finder.
- Check
Organice checks net plus VAT against the total, the per-rate VAT split, and whether payment settles what was owed.
- Review
Every amount stays in the tally. Anything that fails a check is marked unproven rather than verified.

What gets checked
When a check fails, the amount is still counted so nothing goes missing from your pile. It is marked unproven rather than verified. Organice does not yet check line items against the subtotal or a VAT summary against each rate row.
OCR depends on the legibility of the source. Very blurry or upside-down documents may be refused. A receipt with no printed currency can only adopt the single explicit currency in the same pile. For bookkeeping or another important decision, check the originals.
The receipts stay on your Mac
Extraction, OCR, arithmetic checks, and tallying run locally as part of Base.
